Many of our delightful and friendly Nepalese employees have been working with us from the beginning and their sons are following in their father’s footsteps. Their villages do depend on the seasonal employment we provide. We ensure they are properly looked after, that they are provided with appropriate protective clothing and equipment for the conditions, insurance cover and, on selection to Guide or Cook, they join our pension scheme and are paid a retainer throughout the year.
